Who Are We

Ballia Art Society is a local non-for-profit organisation. It was formed by local artists in 1972 to support fellow artists and to provide an opportunity for them to exhibit their artworks. Every year since then, Ballina Art Society has held a major annual exhibition to showcase our members latest and best artworks to the public.

WHAT DO WE DO ?

In addition to hosting our annual art exhibition, we provide regular art classes for adults. We engage local tutors to provide classes that are focused on core art skills and/or specific mediums or techniques. Our classes are suitable for beginners, emerging, and experienced artists. Each class runs for 4 weeks (on Thursdays) at the Scout Hall, Canal Road, Ballina from 9 - 2.30pm. BYO lunch.

Note : Only current financial members of Ballina Art Society who have attended at least one set of our art classes in that year, are eligible to exhibit at our annual exhibition.

HOW CAN I ENROL OR GET MORE IMFORMATION ?

Annual membership fee (Jan - Dec) is $40. Please send your name, email and phone number to our Secretary. Once we receive payment and contact details, you will be added to our mailing list. You will receive information about our upcoming classes and social events. Members can enrol in one or more classes held each year.

Each block of classes (4 weeks) costs $100. Membership and class fees can be paid online. To enrol in a class, pay $100 online and add your surname and the tutor initials in the direct reference box.
