The Ballina Art Society

Supporting local artists through classes, exhibitions and community since 1972.

A creative community on the Northern Rivers

Ballina Art Society is a not-for-profit organisation formed by local artists in 1972. For over 50 years we have supported fellow artists and provided opportunities to learn, create and exhibit. Our members come from across the Ballina Shire and the wider Northern Rivers region, united by a love of art and a welcoming, encouraging environment.

We offer regular art classes for adults, run by experienced local tutors across a variety of mediums and styles. Each year we hold a major exhibition to showcase our members’ work to the public. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist, there is a place for you at Ballina Art Society.
