This course explores mixed media techniques including collage, layering, texture and found objects. Students will build up complex, visually rich surfaces using a combination of paint, paper, fabric and other materials.
Ellen is a mixed media artist who loves combining unexpected materials into layered compositions. She encourages playfulness and experimentation in her teaching.
Bring any interesting papers, fabrics or found objects. Basic paints and adhesives will be supplied.
